Where to meet us and how to get there:
Hyde Park, London:
Meet at Wellington Arch under the large central arch in the centre of Hyde Park Corner, (this is the large triumphal arch topped by the large bronze 'Quadriga' sculpture depicting the angel of peace and the chariot of war - the largest bronze sculpture in Europe!)
Directions by train, tube and/or bus The Wellington Arch is opposite Hyde Park Corner tube station on the Piccadilly Line, or just over 0.5 miles from Victoria Station (10-15 minutes walk) or approximately 7 minutes by bus 148 from Stop G, or Bus 436, 82 or 36 from Stop H
Richmond Park:
Meet at Pembroke Lodge car park by the refreshment kiosk, approx 1.5 miles from Richmond Station.
Directions by car From the A316 follow Manor Road until it becomes Queens Road. Continue to the end of Queens Road and turn left and left again through Richmond Gate. Once through the gate, turn right and the carpark will be found approximately .5 mile on the right. Please be aware that this carpark gets very full at weekends so it would be wise to allow extra time for parking.
Directions by train, tube and/or bus Outside the station take Bus No 371 destined for Kingston which runs every 8-10 minutes and alight at Stafford Place or the American University at the top of Queens Road. Journey time about 10 minutes. Walk for 2 minutes following the direction of the bus and turn left into Richmond Gate. Once inside the gate, turn right and follow the road for about 10 minutes to Pembroke Lodge carpark. There is a taxi rank outside Richmond Station.
Guildford:
Meet outside Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford. The entrance to the theatre is next to Debenhams department store, just beyond the traffic lights.
Directions by car From Guildford town centre, follow the ‘mask’ tourist board signs round the one-way system to the theatre. The large public car park at Millbrook is situated 100 yards south of the theatre on the A281 (Horsham Road). Additional parking can be found just off the B3100 Farnham Road, a 10-minute walk from the theatre.
Directions by train From Guildford Station, it is a 7-minute walk: simply follow the signs to the town centre.
Dorking:
Meet outside Denbies Vineyard Winery building.
Directions by car The vineyard is signposted from the A24 which is close to the M25 and A3. There is a large free car park.
Directions by train Frequent trains from both Dorking main station and Dorking Deepdene station followed by a 15-minute walk. From the main station, walk to the main road (A24) and turn right to the roundabout and then at the roundabout take the left turn signposted ‘Vineyard’. From Dorking Deepdene station, turn right out of the station and walk along the A24 to the roundabout. Then at the roundabout take the left turn signposted ‘Vineyard’.

Join us in the beautiful Surrey countryside to practise your skills on a guided walk in the company of a qualified instructor. It is essential that you have attended a Nordic Walking course and can apply basic Nordic Walking techniques. There is no need to book, just come along and we will be there whatever the weather!
